Adults skate too! The Sierra Nevada Figure Skating Club has many adult skaters, some of whom began as children, and others who are learning at all ages of adulthood. Skating is for everyone, and SNFSC values their adult skaters.

Reno Ice offers two, 1-hour long session per week specifically for adult skaters: one on Thursday mornings, and the other on Sunday afternoons.

The Learn to Skate Program at Reno Ice offers adult classes as adult learn differently than children. Our private coaches are open to working with adult skaters, and some prefer it!

Skating is great exercise and a great way to meet new friends. US Figure Skating also has testing and competition structures specifically for adults!
