Volunteers are the lifeblood of Sierra Nevada Figure Skating Club. All Board roles and judges are unpaid, and SNFSC is a non-profit business. The club exists to provide opportunities to our skaters like testing, shows, seminars, and competitions. None of this can happen without the help of volunteers. SNFSC needs volunteers on a year round basis as our events take many months of preparation to pull off.

For the 2024-2025 membership year, SNFSC has implemented a mandatory volunteer hours requirement for all club members and families. Each member/family must complete 5 hours of volunteer time before June 30, 2025. In the 2024-2025 membership year, there will not be a financial penalty for non-completion of hours.
